Century Club of Scranton to cruise the Hudson

The Century Club of Scranton is offering a Spirit Luncheon Cruise on the Hudson, followed by a visit to The Cloisters Museum. Scheduled for Saturday, April 20. According to Mary Eichelsdorfer, chairman, the bus will leave from the rear of the Century Club at 8:30 a.m. and returns at about 9 p.m.

The Cruise is from noon until 2 p.m. and includes The Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island and the New York Skyline. A buffet lunch will be served in the enclosed cabin of the boat. There will be entertainment provided during dinner.

The cruise is followed by a guided tour of The Cloisters which features an example of medieval art and antiquities. The tour will begin at 3:30 p.m. and end at 4:30 p.m. Afterward, enjoy the museum until 5:15 p.m, then return to the bus.

Cost is $125 for members and $135 for non-members. A $30 non-refundable deposit is due by March 1 and final payment is due by April 1.
