Commissioner O'Malley to hold information meeting in Scranton

Lackawanna County Commissioner Patrick M. O'Malley will hold an information meeting at the Keyser Valley Community Center, corner of Keyser Avenue and Jackson Street, Thursday, Feb. 28 at 10 a.m.
 
 
 
Commissioner O'Malley will speak on an opportunity for “Free Cell Phones” for Human Services agencies that work on behalf of the disadvantaged in the community. A representative from the company will be on hand to explain the program, its qualifications and answer questions regarding the phones.
 
 
 
These cell phones are free and each eligible client will receive 250 minutes per month and the unlimited 911 accessibility for emergencies.
