Eric Frein now on FBI’s 10 most wanted list

The FBI has added state trooper shooting suspect Eric Matthew Frein to their ten most wanted fugitives list, enabling additional resources for the investigation and increasing the reward for information leading to Frein’s capture by $100,000.Edward Hanko, special agent in charge of the Philadelphia Division of the FBI, made the announcements with state police Commissioner Frank Noonan at a 4 p.m. news conference today in Blooming Grove, where Frein, 31, allegedly ambushed Cpl. Bryon Dickson and Trooper Alex Douglass.Dickson, 38, was fatally shot, and Trooper Douglass, 31, critically wounded.Days later, Frein’s vehicle was found partially submerged in a nearby pond, and allegedly contained evidence linking him to the shootings.

Lakeland High School planning Buddy Walk

The Lakeland elementary schools recently raised over $600 with Casual Day fundraisers to benefit the Buddy Walk. The Buddy Walk, now in its 13th year, celebrates National Down Syndrome Awareness Month in October. The goal of the walk is to promote understanding and acceptance of people with Down Syndrome.
