Abington Heights High School students recently participated in the NEPA Regional Bridge Building Competition held at the Viewmont Mall. They are, from left: Gianna Baldoni, Chris Rozelle and Branden Connolly.

Students constructed and tested model bridges using the application of physics fundamental principles. By participating in the Bridge Building Competition students get a flavor of what it is to be an engineer, designing structures to a set of specifications and then seeing them perform their function.
