The Abington Heights teams and the Dunmore girls are likely headed toward Hazleton and Pottsville for Tuesday's second round of state play, based on their matchups.

Abington Heights (23-5) will play District 3 champion Berks Catholic (28-2) in Class AAA boys. Abington Heights defeated Northern Lehigh, 62-54, and Berks Catholic topped PE&T Charter, 59-45, Friday.

The Abington Heights girls (23-4) will meeting District 3 second-place team Central Dauphin (17-10) in Class AAAA. Central Dauphin beat Northeast of Philadelphia, 50-36, Friday night while Abington Heights was beating Upper Darby, 50-40.

Dunmore (24-4) will take on District 3 champion York Catholic (26-3) in Class AA girls. Dunmore defeated Christopher Dock, 50-43, and York Catholic handled Imhotep Charter, 64-42, Friday.

Montrose (25-2) is also in the Class AA girls' tournament and will play District 12 champion Carver Engineering & Science (17-5). Montrose defeated Wyalusing, 57-41, Friday when Carver was slipping past Lancaster Mennonite, 51-50.
