Francisco Cervelli's sacrifice fly in the top of the 12th inning Wednesday night lifted the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Yankees to their seventh straight International League victory, 2-1, over the Buffalo Bisons.

The Yankees built their lead over the second-place Pawtucket Red Sox to 5 1/2 games while reducing their magic number to win the IL North Division to seven games.

Chris Dickerson singled to drive in Kevin Russo, who had also singled, in the fifth inning for the Yankees.

Adam Warren gave up two hits and a walk while striking out four in five scoreless innings for the Yankees.

Buffalo tied the game in the seventh off reliever Chase Whitley.

Each team had chances in extra innings until the Yankees scored.

Ryota Igarashi (3-2) earned the win after working out of a jam in the 11th inning with two men in scoring position and none out.
