Ramiro Pena's two-run, ninth-inning double broke a tie and Eduardo Nunez followed with a two-run single Wednesday night to lead the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Yankees to a 7-3 International League victory over the Rochester Red Wings.

Rochester had reliever Kyle Waldrop intentionally walk Darnell McDonald with runners on second and third in the ninth.

Pena made the Red Wings pay with his game-winning hit to complete a 3-for-4 effort.

Chris Dickerson, whom homered in the first inning, also had three hits and scored twice. Melky Mesa, who also homered, had two hits and two runs.

Michael O'Connor struck out seven and allowed just three hits in 6 1/3 innings for the Yankees. Juan Cedeno (3-0) earned the win in relief.
